Making the decision to learn Hebrew means that you are not only taking on the task of learning a new language but you are also learning a new way of life as well. In order to learn Hebrew and the language it is important to start from the beginning, which means learning the alphabet. As you begin your lessons, you are going to find that the alphabet is actually written in two different forms. There is the print version and the written form.

For those that are young, there are classes that they can take which uses pictures and drawings to help them remember what the letters of the alphabet are or what certain words are. This is a great way for teaching younger and smaller children that have trouble remembering things that they have learned.

To a large extent the large amount of resources such as video recordings, sound bits, literature and online translations makes the practice and vocabulary building work easier. However all languages need to be practiced and that can happen when you engage in conversation with other speakers of the language.
